Rules for Hiatus Status:

Members who have a financial or a family hardship can apply to the Executive Board by tendering via the below form their need for Hiatus and length of time expected. The Board will then approve or reject the request on a case-by-case basis.

A member may be put on Hiatus status for a minimum of six months and a maximum of three years. While on Hiatus, no family members shall have access to the club or any social events until their membership is fully reinstated.

Members will be responsible for on time payments of capital assessments owed by their membership type. If the membership type is exempt from capital assessments, 75% of the member type dues will be owed.

Approval for Hiatus status will require the member to have paid all previous obligations. Upon returning from Hiatus, members shall be responsible for the annual dues, assessments, and any fees in accordance with the then-current payment schedule.

Members returning from hiatus will have waitlist priority. Upon returning to active status, members will again be responsible for all dues, assessments, and fees listed above as well as any previous balances. Members will return to their previous member class and may not be eligible for a change in member class for at least one year. The time on hiatus will not count as qualifying years with respect to requirements needed for membership class changes.
