Guidelines due to Social Distancing

NCFC Guidelines (based on state and public health requirements):

  • Locker rooms will be closed so children need to come prepared for the pool – they will need a towel, shammies (for divers), goggles, water bottle, and to have bathing suits on prior to arriving at the club. Restrooms will be open and cleaned routinely.

  • Sharing of personal equipment, such as goggles, swim caps, and water bottles is not allowed.

  • To maintain one-way foot traffic, children and parents should enter through the gate between the parking lot and the pool (across from the paddle courts) and then exit through the gate on the opposite of the pool and go up and across the walkway past the snack bar area to the parking lot.

  • Lounge chairs will be set up 6 feet apart in groups of 2 or 3 for use by members of the same family. After 12 pm, we ask that lounge chairs be for adult use only. Children will have smaller chairs available.

  • The club is currently not allowing any guests.

  • Aquatic staff will clean/disinfect touch points and surfaces between practices.

  • In public areas, where social distancing cannot be maintained, it is advisable to wear a face mask.

  • It is recommended that water polo participants bring their own water polo ball to practice.

  • Lessons that require physical contact between the instructor and the students will not be allowed during phase 2. Lessons that do not require physical contact between student and instructor (e.g., swim team sessions with older children) will be allowed
