Congratulations to the ladies’ tennis teams on their very successful food drive which was held as part of their end-of-season Round Robin. They were able to donate two carloads of food to area food pantries.
As we look forward to Labor Day weekend, please remember to drive carefully through the Club. We have put up a stop sign by the walkway near the pool entrance. Please stop and then go slowly through that area.
The Tennis Pro Shop will be open for merchandise and stringing until 9/18, which is Tim’s last day for the season. After the Labor Day weekend we will not be staffing the Pro Shop desk full time for court time reservations, so it will be first come, first served.
Please thank Tim when you get a chance. He came into this program with knowledge of the Covid-19 protocols which were new to all of us, and managed his Pro Staff very skillfully through this Pandemic.
Please also be aware that construction along Route 123 right in front of the club will be commencing soon after Labor Day. The state is redoing the drainage system under the roadway. So entering the club will only be available coming up Route 123 from the south. The road north of the entrance will be closed for a month, but hopefully it will be open by the start of the paddle season.
