8/19/20: Labor Day Clambake

Dear Members,

Back by popular demand, we are pleased to announce that we are offering our traditional end of season clambake.

It will be held on Labor Day, September 7th, 2pm – 6pm.

Captain John’s of Norwalk will be the caterer. They will serve the New England Clambake consisting of a fresh 1 1/2 lb. Maine lobster, clams, corn, potatoes, and coleslaw, with watermelon for desert. Members can substitute either ribeye steak or barbecue chicken and sausage.

The cost is $50 per person, which includes CT sales tax and a 15% gratuity.

The snack bar will be open, or if you so desire, bring food for your kids. Most kids do not partake of the catered meal.

You also can order the meal to go and enjoy it in the comfort of your own home or yard.

Please keep in mind that social distancing and masks will be required to pick up the meal.

We will put out extra tables and chairs, spread out appropriately to help with social distancing. There will be open seating, as we have done all summer (first come, first served). The Field House deck overlooking the pool and the Tennis Pavilion deck will also be available for additional seating.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our President, Mike Simko, and the Board of Governors for their hard work to make this season such a success, under very difficult circumstances.
