Dear Summer Members, I would like to thank those of you who have already reached out to me with questions and/or decisions on your preferred option on how to address the Club’s decision to postpone 2020 Summer Membership (click here for announcement and options). It has been a good opportunity to hear from you individually and to learn how you are managing during the current Pandemic. For those of you who haven’t reached out to me yet with a decision to either request a refund (Option A), postpone your membership to 2021 (Option B) or apply for immediate conversion to full membership (Option C), I look forward to hearing from you by Friday, May 22nd. Please note that Option C is the only choice which grants you club access for this summer. In the meantime, I will continue to communicate examples of how our club continues to find opportunities to balance giving our members the “NCFC experience” while still responsibly following social distancing requirements. Hopefully, these emails continue to give you a better picture of what to expect for this summer should you decide to apply for conversion to full membership. In the past week, I shared with you two update emails. The first was from our Director of Tennis announcing the opening of our tennis courts along with the restrictions that members are required to follow. The second email that I shared was from our Camp chairs announcing key dates and requesting signups. Today, I am sharing another email from our Director of Tennis announcing the beginning of the ladies interclub tennis practices, the kick-off of our men’s singles ladder and a parent-child event (see below). Hopefully, these emails continue to help give you a better picture of what to expect for this summer should you decide to apply to convert to full membership. While you are assessing the best choice for your family, I will continue to forward any information that becomes available from the Club until May 22nd to keep you in the loop. We recognize this is a hard decision to make and hope that this type of information, along with answering your questions, will help you. Other Club services will become available subject to the directives and orders of the club associations, the town and the state. Stay well and be safe. Best,
